TEHRAN - A Kuwaiti producer has announced that he would be hiring Iranian directors to produce serials. According to a report issued by the public relations office of the Islamic Culture and Communications Organization (ICCO), Barak al-Harbi was quoted in the June 8th edition of the Kuwaiti daily ***Al-Ray Al-Am*** as saying, "A thirty-episode serial called 'Booyeh' (The Lighthouse) will be directed by an Iranian director and will be broadcast in Ramadan." He said that an Iranian director has been hired to work on the serial because Iranian film directors are professional and talented and some parts of the serial are set in Iran.

He stated that other reasons for hiring Iranian directors are the dearth of Kuwaiti directors and the high salaries most of them demand.
